In spite of limited resources, Mdina Knights FC has been striving to achieve the status of one of the leading local sports organisations since its inception in 2006. The Club is embarking on a bold initiative to nurture footballing talent on the Island while at the same time helping to mould the character of its students. The establishment of a Soccer School will further the Club’s avowed ideals of being a truly educational, social and sporting institution.
Our approach to the game differs
from other clubs as we believe in solid player development.
With this mindset we have launched the Mdina
Knights Soccer School aiming to attract players between 15 to 20 years of
age and give them the opportunity to get unique mentoring from our top
tier coaching staff which will be supervised by the well-known coach, Eric
Schembri.
The idea is to enable the
individual to up his game and make it to the next level. Each player
will be given individual attention and will be evaluated on a weekly
basis. Those who show the most determination and willingness to succeed
will be given the opportunity to prove their talent with the first team, with
the ultimate goal of being an asset to the squad.
The facilities provided are amongst
the finest on the island. The sessions will be conducted 3 times weekly between
18.15 till 19.30 on synthetic turf pitches situated at the limits of Mosta.
All players will be given training
equipment provided by our sporting sponsor PUMA.
